Proof of Concept Demonstration

• Objective was a generic social survey processing machine, capable of customisation to meet the needs of primary researchers, data archivists, and end-users, including tools for cross-national, cross series manipulation and comparison
• This stage is now completed and has exceeded initial design criteria
• Important to emphasise that the NESSIE II demonstration focuses on core elements of the functionality of the CCESD Information System

Thus :

• This is a demonstration of an end-product designed to meet the particular needs of end-users, archivists, or primary producers
• The survey data sets included here are ones provided to CCESD by CESSDA members for research purposes, and this version of the CCESD Information System is not in the public domain
