The CCESD Information System consists of three distinct pathways to finding data:

  • a text search of the questionnaires;
  • browsing the ready-made contents list;
  • and examining individual surveys within a series.
As a first step, you are required to choose a default selection of countries and survey years of interest.

All subsequent results found via any of the pathways will correspond to your selection. For in-depth help and explanation of each of the actions below, click the question-mark icon next to the link.

CCESD Information System version 6.0.0.0

The CCESD Information System has been designed to perform the following functions:

Specify a set of countries and survey years of interest
Search the question and response text of survey questionnaires
Search the hierarchically designed contents list by subject area
Browse the questions of an individual survey directly
View time-series frequencies with optional missing values and weighting variables
Recode response values for customised results
Run three-way cross-tabulations for key demographic variables
View the output of frequencies and cross-tabulations as high-quality graphics
Save the results of your work in the form of graphs, tables and SPSS data

Browser requirements

The CCESD Information System has been designed to work with all browsers that support frames. It has been tested with the latest versions of Internet Explorer, Firefox, Opera, Chrome and Safari.
